Adding new content sources to Spark is easy. If you have not connected any sources to Spark, your screen will look like the picture below the first time you visit Integrations:
If your screen looks like the image above, to add a source just click on the "Add" button for the source of your choice. Otherwise, if you have already added a source (perhaps during your initial account setup), then you will see an overview of your sources:
In this case, click the "Add new source" button (upper right). Clicking that button will bring you to a screen that looks just like the first image above.
Connecting to your source
Once you click the "Add" button, a window will pop up asking you to login to that service. Please note: That window that is loading is from that service, not Spark. Why is this important? Because the username and password being entered into that dialog is being collected by the service provider, not Illumineto. Illumineto will never ask for your username or password for any service. Instead, you will be logging directly into that service.
Once logged in, Illumineto Spark will be communicating with the service via secured, encrypted APIs provided by the service provider. You will be prompted to provide Spark access to your application (see picture below).
Once you accept this request, Spark will now be programmatically connected to your source. It is important to also note that this connection is securely encrypted and the "keys" to this connection are encrypted using industry standard best practices. No one but you will have access to the content in this account. Further, Illumineto will never add or delete any information connected to your cloud storage sources.
